Hey all,
Hope you all have a wonderful holiday and a great time with your friends and family. Don't forget to do a little research on which country we are going to support. The choices are rural China, Sierra Leone, Sri Lanka or Equador. When we get back we will vote for the country that we think has the greatest need.
When we get back we will also want to plan our big assembly for Winona Drive. We already know what we want to say and we just need to figure out what format it will take.
Here are some suggestions:
Powerpoint - Talking about the country we have selected for our support
Dance - Let's see maybe the dance club will help us with this one
Show the blog
Show the website Free the Children so others can do some research too!
Present facts about water
Tell the student body what we are planning - bake sale, swim-a-thon etc.
Get the student body to like Me2we on facebook
So in conclusion we have a lot to do when we get back from the holidays.
Please remember to respond to this blog and add your suggestions!
Happy Holidays from Ms Banman

First of all thanks to everyone who is working on our white ribbon campagn for December 6th. The candles on the front foyer look amazing and make me reflect on how things would have been different had the women who were killed all lived, completed their degrees, had families and successful careers. Violence against women needs to be stopped and we are a part of the solution when we make people more aware of the problems that still exist in our society.

The last meeting we had we disscussed the Vow Of Silence. Discussion involved about what it means to us and it's importance. One of the things we discussed was that some children around the world are unable to express how they feel or what their thoughts are becuase they are scared of the reprecussions of speaking out. i.e. Iqbal Masih
