We did it Winona, we have successfully raised 5,000 for a well in Sierra Leone. Thanks to everyone that participated in our biathalon! It was a huge success. A special thanks goes to everyone who helped prepare and organize as well. To our teacher volunteers, Ms. Sher, Ms Vandenberg, Ms Cosburn, Ms Barbier and Ms Sher, a big thank you as we couldn't have done this without you.
It's now time to celebrate! When the grade 7's get back from music camp and the grade 8's get back from Arowhan we will celebrate with a lunch time party! Thanks again everyone for making this year such a success at Winona!

Congratulations Winona Me2we'ers!
What a fantastic job you all did with participating, getting others to donate and organizing the biathalon. It was a huge success AND we were able to raise 2760.52 for the well in Sierra Leone. We now have earned a total of 4, 806.30, which means that we are only need 200.00 to reach our goal of 5,000. We can do this!!!

June 3rd Biatholon
Hey everyone,
It looks like we are all ready for our big biatholon. Thanks to everyone for helping organize the big day's events. Every class in the school has seen the fantastic video for the biathalon and now it's up to our student body to collect pledges and bring in money to support the building of our wells in Sierra Leone!
Our goal is for everyone in the school to bring in 10.00 and we would easily have enough money to pay for our well.

Hey all,
Really pleased with everyone's efforts to get the latest bakesale going. I see the posters up around the school and the annoucements are happening on a regular basis - well done. I've included an update of what is happening with Free the Children's water project.
Please take a look at it so you can stay informed of the situation. Also it would be good to have an assembly for students before our big swim-a-thon so please start thinking about how we can get our student body hyped!!! We will discuss this coming Wednesday.

300.00 for Japan - Thanks Winona and Thank you Me2We!
Hey all! We managed to raise just over 300.00 for Japan. Thanks to everyone for helping out and a special thanks to the girls who went around at the end of the day asking for spare change on Friday. Also thanks to all the teachers for helping out and organizing the 1000 paper cranes. I think the Japanese school was very appreciative of our kind gesture!

Toonie Tuesday Fundraiser for Japan
On behalf of everyone in Me to We, we would like to express our deepest condolences and sorrow for those who have lost friends and family during the earthquake and tsunami that has devastated Japan.
Many of our families and community members still have loved ones who are safe and unharmed in Japan, but in need of immediate assistance. While the disaster happened more than a week ago, we have not been able to coordinate a Board-wide effort because of March Break. Now that we have all returned, we must spring to action:
We are also asking schools and Board sites to coordinate a Toonie Tuesday event for Tuesday, March 29.
